One of the design elements in my Steampunk Living room is this ceiling fan I made using the original ceiling fan found in the room as the base. While I did not take photos of the whole process, I do have a few that can let you get an idea of how the Steampunk Ceiling fan was made.

These are in process pictures during the making of the Steampunk Ceiling fan. I made it from a ceiling fan that was already in the room using the motor, lighting assembly and fan blade mounts. The down rod was made using a copper pipe and was embellished with the brass rings holding parallel brass rods along it.

These are some additional pictures of the Steampunk Ceiling fan installed. The blades I used were from the original ceiling fan where the ends were rounded on a router.
